Consumer health data privacy policy

This policy covers consumer health data as defined in laws such as Washington’s My Health My Data Act. Effective October 9, 2026.

Categories of consumer health data we collect

None. Heart rate readings, camera frames, tap timings, ages and any other values you enter are processed only inside your own browser and are not transmitted to us or to anyone else.

Sources of the data

The only source is you, on your device: your camera, your taps and what you type. None of it reaches our systems.

Purpose of processing

To show you your own heart rate estimate and calculator results on screen. Nothing is used for advertising, profiling or any other purpose.

Sharing with third parties and affiliates

We do not share consumer health data with anyone, because we do not receive it. We have no affiliates that receive it, and we do not sell it.

Data kept on your device

If you choose “Save to this device”, readings are kept in your browser’s local storage, under your control. You can delete them at any time with “Clear saved readings” or by clearing your browser data.

Your rights

Since no consumer health data of yours ever reaches us, we have none to look up, correct, erase or stop sharing on your behalf. If you believe otherwise or have questions, email hello@whatsmypulse.com and we will respond.
